This one-take music video has the people featured miming the lyrics to Wileys new single Cash In My Pocket - ft. Daniel Merriweather. The viral style music video ends of with a call out, to whomever think they can do it better, to post a video response on youtube for the chance to win ”£1000 worth of XmasCa$h In Your Pocket”.

Master of samples
Posted by kRiSs | Filed under Miscellaneous
No secret that Kanye in the true spirit of hip hop production uses a shit load of samples to create his beats. Some of the original tracks are instantly recognizable, some obscure and a few sound nothing like the original. But you can’t deny that the guy has an ear for finding them long forgotten tunes and turn them into hip hop mega hits.

Mick Boogie
Posted by kRiSs | Filed under Inspiration, Travel

A little while back my bro introduced me to Mick Boogie and his Mixtapes. Viva La Hova being the latest that sees original beats fused with Coldplay samples all with Jay-Z verses laced on top - it’s definitely recommendable: Download it here.
Tonight I got invited to go see him perform at Bluedog Lounge here in Montréal, so looking forward to that!

Just stumbled upon this graphic. It’s a beat-by-beat breakdown of samples used on the tack What It’s All About of the newest Girl Talk Album Feed The Animals. He claims to have over 300 song snippets in just over 50 minutes on there, so if you’re in to crazy mash-up extravaganza you should check out this Pittsburgh-based computer maestro.
