A little while back my bro introduced me to Mick Boogie and his Mixtapes. Viva La Hova being the latest that sees original beats fused with Coldplay samples all with Jay-Z verses laced on top - it’s definitely recommendable: Download it here.
Tonight I got invited to go see him perform at Bluedog Lounge here in Montréal, so looking forward to that!

I AM #2

Friday 080808 I AM returned to Copenhagen during the Fashion week. With alluring imagery, mesmerizing performances, tantalizing dancers and captivating beats, a massive party was held celebrating fashion and the danish summer, again donating the earnings to Children with cancer.
This time we switched the style completely to a playful and color saturated summer feel. Photographer Christian Friis, make-up artist Jacob Kruse Henriksen and stylist Simon Rasmussen did their 80’s thing.
Invites, large banners, flyers and so forth was created. Check out more below.

I AM

I AM is a new club event taking place four times a year – every time in new festive surroundings – with a new concept and theme and changing international DJ line-ups, artists, fashion magazines, design brands etc.
At each event I AM is going to put focus on one humanitarian organisation or initiative in order to help and support a good and worthy cause like Children with cancer, the Red Cross, the Aids Fund.
Together with party promoter Nima K, I did concept, logo design and creative direction for these images. I wanted to give the logo a physical appearance and integrate it into the visuals. We made the logo out of wood 2 meters high and half meter deep and painted them white. The letters were used at the shoot as well as decoration at the actual event.
My good friend Simon Rasmussen (Stylist), Jonas Bie (Photographer) and I came up with the black and white Helmut Newton and Reservoir Dogs inspired look for the models. We wanted it to appeal to both the fashion and graphic/creative audience.
I created an 8 page invitation folder, as well as tee’s, poster, stickers, banners and eFlyers. Pictures of this as well as pictures from the first event will follow soon.

SLIK logo
